Bodnar is a self taught photographer used to working with
celebrities worldwide. Portraiture includes HRH Prince Charles,
Princes’ William & Harry, Celine Dion, Charlotte
Church, Tom Jones, Jack Dee, Ali G, Kate Moss, Sue Johnston,
Jamie Oliver, J K Rowling... to name a few.
I use Sigma lenses
exclusively and find the range of lenses second to none
and have used most lenses between 15mm through 800mm. I
recently had a successful shoot photographing status quo
“wing walking” on a couple of bi planes. The
300-800 zoom easily helped freeze close-ups in the air.
I mainly use the shorter lenses in my regular capacity officially
photographing members of the royal family.
Whilst I have
a strong history of music celebrities from the late 70's
to the present day. I am also official photographer for
comic relief. My work of over 10 years has resulted in some
of the most memorable images from Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean
through Kylie Minogue, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, the
Spice Girls & Lenny Henry
My
experience of low light stage photography opened up work
for the theatre and commercials/videos. Commissions for
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s company and Dewynters advertising
- Blues Brothers, Dame Edna Everidge, Queen’s “We
Will Rock You”, Michael Flatley and the biggest show
in Las Vegas: Celine Dion’s A New Day.
