We teamed up with Pro landscape photographer Lea Tippett to offer a two day photo workshop in Dartmoor National Park to one lucky winner, along with a shiny new Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM lens. Congratulations to David Ellin for the winning image below which was selected from over three hundred entries.

The workshop, which was held September 27-29, included visits to many of the finest photographic locations in the area such as Bowerman’s Nose, Postbridge, The Windy Post and Great Staple Tor.
The agenda for the weekend was to provide David with tips on how to get the most out of his new fast aperture zoom lens as well as give great advice on how to take stunning landscape photos. David received his 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM lens at the start of the workshop and Sigma’s Paul Reynolds was on hand to answer any technical questions. David’s daughter Georgie, also a keen photographer studying GCSE photography came along for the trip. Lea guided the group through the principles of successful landscape photography, basic camera techniques along with advising on composition and making the most of available lighting. Here are a selection of David’s images from the weekend.
