Gary Parravani

Lounge-GParravani-thumbnailMotorsport Photographer, Gary Parravani, started off in the business by accident in 2003 when he was asked to get a few snaps with his 2 mega-pixel Sony Cyber Shot at the London Champ Car Trophy.

A couple of years later he decided to take it more seriously and bought a Canon 10d (after a not so serious attempt with a Minolta Z1).  Ten years later he now runs Xynamic Motorsport Photography, a small agency covering events across the world. Whilst the team has shot Formula 1, Classic Racing and Touring Cars they mainly specialise in GT and Sportscar Racing. The agency has some of the biggest car industry names on its customer list.
In 2013 a decision was made to switch over to Nikon from Canon. This meant all the lenses had to be replaced too and it was decided that Sigma offered a better range and better value for a motorsport photography business.
Xynamic Motorsport Photography’s bread and butter circuit lens is the Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 EX APO DG OS HSM | S which very rarely leaves the Nikon camera body.
It is looking like another great year for the team, with some big new contracts in the pipe-line. You can see more from Gary Parravani here: www.xynamic.com .
