Small camera, big saving! £300 off an fp or fp kit until 30 November 2021!

What is the SIGMA fp?

The SIGMA fp is the smallest and lightest full-frame mirrorless camera ever built, offering a powerful 24.6MP sensor that produces rich and vibrant images, and incredible video capability that shoots up to 4K UHD 12-bit RAW footage. The camera has a modular design, so can be used stripped down for situations when size and weight are all-important, or built up with a hand grip, a hotshot, an optical viewfinder, an EVF, or even used in a full cine rig. This makes it a highly versatile option that can be quickly adapted to different shooting conditions.

The build quality of the fp is exceptional, with an all-aluminium body and 42-point dust- and splash-proof structure. Its distinctive heat-sink function on the rear allows it to record footage at the maximum data rate without overheating, which is a big issue with many other video-capable models on the market.

A highly intuitive user interface makes it very easy to access the most important settings, both in the menu system and on the body itself. Tone and Color buttons on the rear of the camera allow users to add Color Modes to stills and video and adjust the appearance of shadows and highlights. A QS button gives quick access to key settings, and a cine/stills switch on the top plate allows users to change between stills and video instantly.

The rear controls of the fp are clear and intuitive, making it easy to access key settings quickly.

The fp is L-Mount, which means it shares the same mount as Leica and full-frame Panasonic cameras, as part of the L-Mount alliance. So as well as the 27 ultra-high quality L-Mount SIGMA lenses, which span 14mm to 600mm, it’s also possible to use any Leica or full-frame Panasonic lens natively. This makes for a very wide range of top-quality optics available to SIGMA fp users.

The fp can be purchased body only, or in a kit with the 45mm F2.8 DG DN | C. This exceptionally small but beautifully built all-metal prime is part of the new I series of lenses, which are premium compact primes that boast manual aperture rings and superb image and build quality. They are designed to be portable enough for day-to-day shooting while delivering professional level results, so you can take a pro-level camera set-up on even the most casual of outings.

So whether you’re an APS-C user looking to upgrade to a full-frame body, or a photo or video shooter that needs exceptional image quality in the smallest and lightest possible package, this camera will not disappoint. So why not pick up an fp or fp kit before 30 November and start achieving incredible results.
