Since this lens is incorperation an internal focusing system, the front lens does not rotate, Also it is easier to use a polarizing filter. Sigma Apo Zoom Lens 70-210mm F2.8 for Nikon AF and Canon AF cameras have a “Biofocus” can focus manually the AF lens with manual focusing feeling and torque.”
